Dhat Island offers good food that's priced right. I got the oxtails which were delicious. My husband got the gumbo and he was impressed with how much meat they provided. I look forward to trying more dishes.

Worst Caribbean food I've ever had. I've been allll over the world to several Caribbean countries- as well as being creole myself and have never had oxtails with bones in it nor an orange sauce. The red beans were dry and full of cayenne pepper. The beignets were flat and hard. Food garnished with raw onions. The chicken wing was sooo big and raw in the inside. I'm assuming because this is Redlands non people of color eat this up. For those of us indigenous to Caribbean food know this ain't it.

We were finally able to visit this restaurant after moving to the area recently. Upon entering its quite a bit more quaint than the big sign boasts. We were seated immediately and overjoyed with the choices the menu had to offer. Our waiter David was amazing! He was attentive and very knowledgeable about not only the menu but the prep! He made our trip to this establishment over the top perfect. My husband ordered the shrimp gumbo and I ordered the red snapper. Both were seasoned providing a unique but delish meal. The snapper came with red beans n rice and two plantains. We also enjoyed some Mac n cheese & greens for the full experience. Many who have tried Jamaican or similar foods know that no two recipes are the same. Most seem to be family recipes which provides a new and unique experience for each dish. Definitely give this little restaurant a try! No mix drinks/hard liquor tho :( even with the nice patio dining they provide.

My husband and I been wanting good Caribbean food. Luckily, my dad knew this place and took us there when we were visiting from New Mexico. It was delicious. I got the jerk chicken which was so good! Everyone's good was so yummy. Hope to revisit again. The place was clean and nice inside. Outside is lovely as well.

We have never had a bad dish here. It is always amazing. Favorite dishes include beignets with raspberry sauce, griyo(pork that is so tender and tasty), sweet plantains, red beans and rice, oxtail curry, macaroni and cheese. It is also family owned by am incredibly sweet and friendly family.

The location and the Servers are very nice and I enjoyed my time there. I believe I had the jerk chicken and it wasn't for me. I'm not a particularly picky eater either, it wasn't bad or bland, just not for me. The rice and beans however felt a little plain tasting which was unusual especially since I go to lots of Islander Restaurants. It's been a long minute since I've gone, so I'd be willing to try it again if the mood strikes.
